Gripple Tensioning Tool with Tension Gauge TORQ FENCING

A professional tool for fence building: The new and improved Gripple tensioning tool tensions the wire as well as measures and regulates the tension force. Perfect for ensuring a long lifespan for the wire. A technically sophisticated device that is setting standards in the trade – made in England.
An intelligent development: The tensioning tool from Gripple with tension meter regulates the tension force on the electric fence wires. This tool allows you to tension the wires to a preset tensile strength. This compact tensioning tool is made with the highest quality materials and production processes. Despite being so robust, it is easy to handle. The 6:1 level transmission makes it particularly easy to use.

The Gripple tensioning tool tensions wires with a force up to 400 kg and is suitable for use with all commercially available Gripple connectors (e.g. item no.: 44437 + 44292). The integrated torque gauge regulates the force applied to the fence. Turning the knob sets the desired tensioning force which is shown on the scale and is infinitely variable. Why it’s important to correctly tension the fence: A properly tensioned wire has a much longer lifespan. When animals come into contact with fence material that droops, the material is put under heavy strain, the molecular structure is stretched and the wires slacken which can eventually lead to them breaking.

Why is the correct fence tension so important?
To maximise the lifespan of your fence material you must ensure optimal fence tension. Low tension means the wires will droop and will be negatively affected each time an animal comes into contact with them. High tension overstretches the molecular structure of the wire and reduces its elastic limit causing it to slacken and finally break.

Recommended for:

• suitable for controlled tensioning of electric fence wires
• allows you to regulate and measure the tension being applied
• suitable for use with all commercially available Gripple connectors (e.g. item no.: 44437 + 44292).

Special features:

• Tension and measure in one process
• easy-to-use lever action
• re-tensioning made easy
