The QSBBA0620 Heavy-Duty Multi-Purpose Angled Electrician Scissors are designed for cutting, stripping and crimping tasks in electrical installation, maintenance and workshop applications. Their distinctive angled-head design improves access in narrow or awkward working areas while providing better hand clearance and control.
The premium blades are manufactured from JIS SUS420J2 stainless steel, with induction-hardened and precision-ground cutting edges for dependable sharpness and durability. A micro-serrated edge helps grip cable, insulation and other materials during cutting, reducing slippage and supporting a clean, controlled cut.
A large cable-cutting notch allows the tool to cut suitable soft cable up to 100mm² / 3/0 AWG, while an additional small wire notch is provided for cutting soft metal wire up to 2.5mm². The scissors can also cut compatible aluminium and copper wire up to Ø3.5mm.
Built-in stripping positions cover conductors from 0.3mm² to 6.0mm² / 24–10 AWG, while the integrated crimping section supports 2.5mm² / 14 AWG and 6.0mm² / 10 AWG cable terminals. A responsive spring-loaded mechanism provides smooth opening after each cut, and the safety lock keeps the tool securely closed when not in use.

Instructions for Use

1. Inspect the scissors before use and do not use them if the blades, handles, spring or locking mechanism are damaged.
2. Select the appropriate cutting, stripping or crimping section for the task.
3. For larger soft cable, place the cable fully into the large cutting notch before closing the handles.
4. For smaller soft metal wire, use the dedicated small wire notch where appropriate.
5. Use the straight blade section for insulation materials, electrical tape and suitable lighter cutting tasks.
6. For stripping, select the correct conductor size and remove only enough insulation to expose the required conductor length.
7. Avoid cutting into or nicking the conductor strands.
8. For crimping, place the compatible terminal correctly in the crimping section and apply firm, even pressure.
9. Allow the spring-loaded mechanism to reopen the handles naturally after each operation.
10. Engage the safety lock when the scissors are not in use.
11. Do not exceed the stated cutting, stripping or crimping capacities.
12. Do not use on live electrical circuits unless the tool is specifically rated and approved for live electrical work.
13. Clean the blades after use and apply light lubrication to the pivot where required.
14. Return the scissors to the protective sheath before carrying or storing them.
