The QSBBA0517 Heavy-Duty Multi-Purpose Electrician Scissors are designed for cutting, stripping and crimping tasks in electrical installation, maintenance and workshop applications. Combining several commonly required electrician functions in one compact 170mm hand tool, they are suitable for cutting soft cable, insulation materials, electrical tape and compatible copper or aluminium wire.
The premium blades are manufactured from JIS SUS4034 stainless steel, with induction-hardened and precision-ground cutting edges for reliable sharpness and durability. A micro-serrated cutting edge helps grip the material during cutting, reducing slippage and supporting a cleaner, more controlled cut.
An additional cable-cutting notch provides capacity for soft cable up to 80mm² / 2/0 AWG, while the integrated wire stripping positions cover 1.5, 2.5 and 4.0mm² conductors. The tool also incorporates a crimping section suitable for 2.5mm² / 14 AWG non-insulated terminals and compatible insulated ferrules.
An impact-resistant ergonomic handle is designed for comfortable use by both left- and right-handed users. A protective plastic sheath with belt clip is supplied for safer storage and convenient carrying between tasks.

Instructions for Use

1. Inspect the scissors before use and do not use them if the blades, handles or pivot are damaged.
2. Select the appropriate cutting, stripping or crimping section for the task.
3. For cable cutting, position the cable fully inside the appropriate cutting area before closing the handles.
4. Use the dedicated cable notch when working with compatible larger soft cable.
5. For stripping, select the correct stripping position for the conductor size.
6. Rotate or pull the tool carefully to remove the insulation without damaging the conductor.
7. For crimping, place the compatible terminal or ferrule correctly in the crimping section and apply firm, even pressure.
8. Keep fingers clear of the blade and pivot areas during operation.
9. Do not exceed the stated cutting, stripping or crimping capacities.
10. Do not use on live electrical circuits unless the tool is specifically rated and approved for that purpose.
11. Clean the blades after use and apply light lubrication to the pivot where required.
12. Return the scissors to the protective sheath before carrying or storing them.
