Delvotest SP NT Ampoules

Description
A box of 25 tests complete with pipettes and instructions. Delvotest SP NT is a standard diffusion test for the detection of residues of antibacterial substances (antibiotics and sulphonamides) in milk. The test consists of ampoules or plates of 96 wells each containing a solid sugar agar medium seeded a standardised number of spores of Bacillus stearothermophilus var. calidolactis together with required nutrients for growth purposes and an antifolate trimethoprim.

Disclaimer 1:The Delvo SP-NT Method is the definitive test method for inhibitory substances in milk declared by Dairygold to the Department of Agriculture. All deductions are levied based solely on the results of this test. Suppliers are requested to adhere to withdrawal guidelines.
Disclaimer 1.1: Therapy/treatment withdrawal times are based on EU Limits, while the Delvo SP-NT Method may have more sensitive limits for some families of antibiotics.
Disclaimer 1.2: Hence, Suppliers are advised to test individual cowsΓ’β¬β’ milk supply following treatments/ therapies, in advance of adding it to the bulk supply, to prevent antibiotic penalties.
