Steel cables with Warrington-Seale construction 6x26WS have an increased breaking load and are more wear resistant than the 6x19 constructions.

- The load-bearing capacity of the steel cables is calculated using the mathematical breaking force
- The mathematical breaking force is divided by the safety factor prescribed for the respective purpose
- Example: safety factor 3 of the average traction of the forestry winch = calc. breaking force : 3
