Excellent D-Bolus (Bicarbonate)

Bicarbonate bolus for calves, sheep and goats to buffer acidity and stimulate the desire to drink. Also known as the drinking or thirst bolus.

When calves have scour they lose fluids and buffers, which lowers acidity and reduces their desire to drink, so the calf weakens quickly. D-Bolus provides an important bicarbonate buffer to get the calf drinking again.

D-Bolus contains 10% more bicarbonate than comparable boluses and comes in a fast-dissolving gelatine capsule for a quicker effect. Easy to give with a bolus applicator. Also ideal for sheep and goats to buffer acidity and reduce the risk of acidosis.

Feed instructions
Calves with scour: at the first signs, give 1 D-Bolus per calf, then 1 D-Bolus at each feed for 1-2 days.
Reducing acidity after birth: 1 D-Bolus immediately after birth.
Sheep and goats: twice daily 1 D-Bolus for 1-2 days. To reduce the risk of acidosis, give 2 D-Boluses together and repeat after 12 hours.

Administration
Orally with a bolus applicator (not included).

Returns. 14 days to tell us. Unused, tags on, in its own packaging, sent back inside a separate outer parcel at your cost; damaged packaging or a used item means a reduced refund. Trade accounts: restocking fee, no returns with damaged packaging. Faulty or wrong items are on us. Start a return.
