The aquamat pump comes with a non-return valve. This valve is placed in the water on a post, this keeps the valve up off the river bed ensuring a clean water supply and preventing sediment build-up. This non-return valve also prevents the pump from running dry. While pushing the animal activates a diaphragm drawing the water through the tube of the pasture pump. The fitting is for a 32mm pipe. The pipe is not included but can be sourced at any local co-op or merchant.
