About the Blue Seal Dry Cow Sealant 250ML
- Blue Seal dry cow sealant gel is suitable for short term aid in sealing teat ends.
- External sealant: it forms a barrier over the teat end. It is not an internal (intramammary) teat sealant.
- Teat must be cleaned, disinfected & dried prior to applying sealant.
- Use dip cup or beaker.
- Ensure at least 3/4 of teat is immersed into gel.
- Treats 40+ cows per 250 ml bottle (as stated on the label).
- Benefits in using 2-3 weeks prior to calving, to act as barrier to pathogens.
- Allow animal to stand for at least 5 minutes to ensure gel has dried sufficiently.
- Sealant may be removed at any stage by peeling away from skin.
